The State of Colorado is an amazing area with something for nearly everyone. Some of the most spectacular Scenes to See and Memories to Create are here. With over 100,000 square miles of land, Mountains in the Central and Western parts of the state, Canyons, Plateaus and Mesas scattered throughout Colorado and Rolling hills and Fertile Farmland in the east, Colorado has plenty of room to roam and places to discover.

Colorado has Skiing in the winter and spring, Golf nearly year round in parts of the state, hiking, biking, camping and sightseeing are all popular and year round pursuits. The state of Colorado is blessed with fantastic scenery, lots and lots of sunshine, great people, and nearly something for everyone!

A sampling of the state would include world class Art Museums and Galleries, exemplary History and Science Museums, Magnificent Railroad, Auto and Transportation Museums, Historic Ghost towns & Pioneer Museums, Dinosaur museums (both indoor and outdoor), several Narrow Gauge Train trips with exhilarating and breathtaking Scenes to See, and hundreds of organized tours to take part in.

How about a trip to see the real South Park, in all it’s Grandeur and Beauty? It’s less than 80 miles southwest of Denver, in the heart of the Colorado Rockies! It’s really not at all like it’s portrayed on the show South Park.

South Park is a gigantic valley that is surrounded by 12,000 to 14,000 foot tall peaks. Lush, green meadows and vast valleys with a snowcapped rim surrounding and standing guard over the park. With all the grand and majestic scenery in the area, it’s easy to let your imagination roam in all directions! Come see for yourself! Mountain Tops and Wheat Fields, deep, deep River Valleys and gorgeous Gorges. They’re here also!

Is hiking and camping your dream vacation? You wouldn’t believe the hiking trails available here and the scenes-to-see along the way! And the camping…. Just the Colorado State parks have well over 4,000 campsites, that doesn’t count all the BLM lands available to the public, Federal lands, such as the National Parks & Monuments, and National Forests (We are home to 11 National Forests and 2 National Grasslands).

Interested in climbing on a 14,000 ft. mountain, playing in the sand dunes and visiting an alligator farm all in the same day? Well, it can be done here, near Alamosa, in the San Luis Valley!

Are you looking for an amusement park or an amusing evening? Wildlife or Wild Life? How about a trip into prehistoric North America?

Is an afternoon or evening at the casinos, horse racing or dog racing more your style? In the 4 corners region (southwestern corner) of Colorado, one can see how the Anasazi or Native Americans lived at Mesa Verde, Escalante Pueblo, Chaco Canyon, in addition to other locations in the area.

Then experience first class Casino and Bingo action and Lodging just a few miles away on the Ute Mountain Ute reservation in Towaoc (pronounced TOY-awk). The next day you could ski or hike some of the most spectacular mountains you’ve ever seen and enjoy a wonderful dinner in Silverton or Durango.

We also have professional sports (Broncos, Rockies, Sky Sox, Avalanche, Eagles, Mammouth, Rapids, Nuggets, Chill), amateur sports, sports museums and sports camps. We also have an ample supply of very good Colorado Wineries that have produced several vintages and styles of award winning Wines.
